She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Barkas and Dorothy Barkas; and her siblings, Dorothy Armstrong, Theodore Barkas and Carol Margeson.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Young; her children, Brian Spencer (Jennifer), Michael Spencer and Karen Spencer; her grandchildren, Kira, Bruce, Syianne, Elayne, Samantha, Angelique and Aiden; and her brother Paul Barkas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
