He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hanchett and Laura Jane Hanchett (Martin); his stepmother Janet Hanchett; and his sister Brenda Hanchett Hobbs. He is survived by: his children, Alyssa Hanchett, Kelly Hanchett and Chad Hanchett; and his siblings, Pamela Lankford, Linda Heatlie and David Hanchett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
