He was predeceased by: his parents, Avis Adams (Dyer) and Arnold Adams; his daughter Sue Ellen of Massachusetts; and his sisters, April Adams and Arlene Shaw (Robert Shaw) of Dover.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Adams (Lemieux); his son Erlon Jr. (Ginny); his stepson David Clark; and his children, Bobbie-Jo Roach of Rochester and John Adams (Pamela) of Littleton, NH.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
