He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charles; his daughters, Louise Wheeler (Bruce), Gloria Morin (Richard), Sheila Hall (Ken) and Nancy Brun (Charles); his nephew Leroy Tripp; his niece Judith Keezer; his granddaughter Becky Sue Elwell; and his sister Pauline Tripp-Currier. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren.
