He is survived by: his friend Rich; his wife Laurie; his daughter Elaine Alden Smith (James); his grandchildren, Jolene, Alden and Kieran Smith of Celbridge; his son Nathaniel (Anna Lee Franklin) of Hanson, MA; and his siblings, Janet Alden of Port Charlotte, FL and Robert Alden of Birmingham, AL.. He is also survived by his other family members, nieces and nephews, as well as his chosen family, his incredible friends.
