He was predeceased by: his parents, John Niemela and Lempi Niemela Sr. (Korpi); and his wife Barbara Niemela (Lattrell) of Winchendon, Mass. He is survived by: his children, Mark (Claudette), Kyle Niemela (Jessica Wheeler) of Jaffrey, NH and Allison (Richard Broadbent) of Reading, PA; his grandchildren, Nicholas Niemela of Keene, NH, Lauren (Corey Arel) of Mason, NH, Emily Broadbent (TJ Tweddle) of Leesport, PA, Sarah Broadbent of Lancaster, PA, Rowan and Tate Niemela of Boston, MA; his great grandchildren, Lyla Niemela of Keene, NH, Wesley, Griffin Arel of Mason, NH, Thomas and Chauncey Broadbent-Tweddle of Leesport, PA; and his sisters, Lorna Letourneau of Dublin, NH and Linda Saville of Houston, Texas..
