She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Jongkind (Tini) and Ian Jongkind. She is survived by: her brother Gerrit Jongkind; her husband Michael Mertinooke; her children, Marijke Brick, Elizabeth Babcock and Andrew Mertinooke; and her grandchildren, Rowen, Trent, Evelyn, Tini, Michael and Ferris.
