She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Spaulding and Brown; her husband Roland Hamel; her children, Nancy Jeffress, Winston Edwards Jr., June Edwards and John Edwards; and her sisters, Mona Spaulding and Eleanor Emery.
She is survived by: her former husband Winston Edwards; her daughters, Joan Sutton and Lisa Chrabolowski; and her grandchildren, Sharon Jeffress, Henry Jeffress, David Annis, Winston Edwards, John Edwards, Andrew Sutton, Matthew Sutton, Hannah Mwamba, Jenna Chrabolowski, Nathan Chrabolowski and Tyler Chrabolowski. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
