With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley A. Whitney of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, born in Exeter, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 2, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Whitney and Madelyn Whitney (Boxford); his son Jeffrey Whitney; his brother-in-law Harry Sullivan; and his siblings, Patricia, Barbara, Henry and Sonny.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Whitney (Keefe); his daughters, Justine Whitney of Portsmouth and June Whitney (Carl Crosman) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Damien D'Amour and Darien D'Amour of Largo, Florida; his great grandchild Mila D'Amour of Largo, Florida; and his siblings, Eleanor Crouch (Dick) of Old Town, ME, George Whitney of Kittery, ME, Shirley Ostrander (David) of Barrington, Nancy Hundley (Bob) of Kittery, ME, Carol Drouin of Berwick, ME, Linda Chase (Bob) of Dover, Phil Whitney (Sylvia) of Gonic and Ronald Whitney (Jackie) of South Berwick, ME. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
