Shintaro Asano Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shintaro Asano of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenzabaro Asano and Aiko Asano; and his brother Jiro. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Asano (Alexandra), Evan Asano, Claudia Barcomb (Brandon) and Matthew Asano (Trilby); his granddaughters, Lilly, Anna, Stella, Adelaide, Grace, Phoebe and Alice; and his wife Belinda Elizabeth Briggs. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Castle (NH) Historical Society, Friends of Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, or the Jimmy Fund.
