It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard H. Lawson of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lawson and Rita Lawson (Lipps); his former wife Marilyn Lawson (Stolz); and his sons, Matthew Lawson and Richard Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Shay" Foster; his daughters, Meegan Reis (Jim Reis), Erin Lawson (Jason Monday) and Courtney Lawson; his grandchildren, Logan of Portsmouth, Connor Reis of Portsmouth, Madilyn of Portsmouth and Parker Monday of Portsmouth; his stepdaughter Margarita "Mimi" Torres; his stepgrandchildren, Katerina and Serena Mladen; and his brothers, Ronald Lawson and Daniel Lawson. He is also survived by brothers & sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster Chapel (84 Broad St, Portsmouth, NH 03801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
