He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Nelson Melanson, Sr. and Carol Ann Melanson (MacMullen). He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Jerram); his daughter Sarah Electa; his siblings, Dan (Heidi Amaral) of Portsmouth, NH and Kathleen Bitomski (Bruce); his nephew Jacob; his sister Becky Sanborn (Ron); his niece Kayla; his brother-in-law Matt Jerram (Erika); his nieces, Allie and Maddie; and his close friend Bruce Dodds.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster Chapel (84 Broad St, Portsmouth, NH 03801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. In 2020, he was selected to travel to the Pfizer plant in North Carolina to ensure their equipment would maintain the necessary temperatures for production of the COVID-19 vaccine.
