She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl A. Whitney Sr. and Marjorie Dow (Staples); and her brother Karl Whitney Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Dolores Davis, Carol Tavares, Dennis Meeks and Alan Meeks; her stepdaughters, Susan Meeks and Deborah Church; her grandchildren, Alicia, Kevin, Meghan, Athena, Anjelicca, Tyler, Kyle, Emma, Xavier, Razlyn and Cecelia; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Isabella, Peyton, Shelby-Rei, Kiara and Maya; her stepgrandchildren, Kristen, Michelle and David; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jameson and Olivia; and her siblings, Dennis Whitney, Janice Beaulieu, Dolores Chambers, Peter Dow and Don Dow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
