She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon F. Smith and Marion F. Smith (Scribner); and her husband Edward E. Kendall. She is survived by: her children, Gordon E. Kendall Sr. (Terry Kendall), Richard "Rick" Kendall Sr. (Rita Kendall) and Rebecca "Becky" Rogers (William "Billy" Rogers). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
