She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Wilson and Queen Wilson (Douglas); her husband Joseph Shaw; her son Joseph Jr.; and her sister Rosie Jean Wilson Wyrick.
She is survived by: her daughter Ollegra Sterling; her siblings, Jesse Jr., Walter, Donald R. Wilson, Velma R. Wilson Wyrick and Bobbie J. Wilson; and her grandchildren, Monique, Veronica and Tyrese Sterling. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
