With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph E. Hurley of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, born in Ayer, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 5, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean Hurley (Mann) of Portsmouth; his parents, Joseph Hurley and Nora Hurley (Gawlik); his siblings, Ruth, Loretta and William; his children, Michael Hurley (Karen) of Dover, Karen Wendell (Michael) of Boulder, CO and Lynn Kocis (John) of Easton, CT; his grandchildren, Ian Kocis, Cameron Kocis, Claire Kocis of Easton, CT, Sofia Wendell, Jack Wendell of Boulder, CO and Samantha Doucette (Hannah) of Providence, RI; his great grandchildren, Olympia and Delphine; and his siblings, Josephine Hurley of Ayer, MA, Christine Hudlin of Rye, NH and James Hurley of Ayer, MA. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
