John Arthur Demers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Arthur Demers of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anselme 'Sam Demers and Aurore Demers (Plante); his significant other Virginia 'Ginny Poole; and his grandchildren, Sarah Gray, Tim Poole, David Poole, Jeremy Poole and Emily Gray. He was also cherished by the youngest of seven children, having five brothers and one sister.

Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of Life at Ossipee Lake and a Catholic Burial at the Notre Dame Cemetery, Springvale, ME, will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you call your children, call your grandchildren, and call your mom and dad.
