He is survived by: his spouse Lilly Bergenthal (Pleva) of Portsmouth; his children, Joy Bergenthal of Portsmouth, Jon Bergenthal of Saint Louis, MO and Jeffery Bergenthal (Patricia Millar) of Potomac, MD; and his sister Dorothy Frisch of Muskego, WI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
