He is survived by: his parents, Erland Sr. and Gertrude Bacon; his wife Alayne; his children, Susan Lovell of Rollingford, NH, Janice Harden of Boardman, OH and Arvid Bacon of Portsmouth, NH; his stepchildren, Robert Burdick of Wilton and Brenda Burdick of Clinton, KY; his grandchildren, Shana Beauregard, Sheila Lovell, Shyanne Lovell, Taylor Harden, Darren Bacon, Colin Bacon, Miranda Bacon, Samantha Burdick, Kaitlyn Burdick, Megan Burdick, Rashida Burdick and Ravaeh Burdick; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Amber and Gemma; his brothers, Charles, Roger, Wendell and Sheldon; and his aunt Francis Pooler. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
March 30, 1942 - July 1, 2018 Oakland – Erland Paul Bacon, Jr., 76, passed to the presence of the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Glenridge Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care Center in Augusta after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.
