With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Wholey of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Wholey to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Marr and Helen Currie Marr; her husband John Wholey; her son-in-law Bernie Pelech; her daughters, Shawn Pelech and Gail Wholey; her grandchildren, Cate Pelech Menon and John Pelech; and her grandchildren-in-law, Roshen and Jenna. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Portsmouth Public Library.
