It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene S. Heitz of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred B. Skillin and Anna M. Skillin (Bletzer); her husband Bill; and her sister Anna Clough. She is survived by: her children, Laura "Laurie" Heitz, Mark Anthony Heitz and Debra Jean Heitz Ficara; her grandchildren, Bonnie Schrag, William Ficara, Michael Ficara III, Christine McKenney, Suzanne Quigley and Stefanie Hayes; and her sisters, Jeanne Potter, Dorothy Potter and Lois Pike. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
