He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rudolf Katz and Hertha Katz (Lowenstein); his former wife Pamela Adams (Hitchcock); his wife Pam Katz of Portsmouth, NH; his stepson Christopher Adams (Kelley McCoole Adams) of North Hampton, NH; his children, Sandra Katz of Lawrence, MA, Benjamin Katz of Rancho Cordova, CA and Joshua Katz of York, ME; his grandchildren, Abby Katz of Brooklyn, NY, Jason Deleon Katz of Portsmouth, NH and Brian Adams of North Hampton, NH.; his brother Gabriel Katz of Ra'anana, Israel; his nephews, Boaz Katz (Pam) of Stockholm, Sweden and Daniel Katz (Inessa Katz); his former wife Wendy Wexler; and also Etan of Golan Heights, Israel..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
