He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Madeline Gray (Marisseau); his adoptive father Paul J. Gray; his wife Valerie E. Gray (Reed) of Thornton; his children, John A. Gray, Jr. (Peter) of Thompson, CT. and Ellen M. Walton (Don) of Mountain City, TN.; his granddaughter Tara Ashley Brownson of Wakefield; and his brother James P. Gray (Mary) of Haverhill, MA.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and several cousins.
