He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, Micheal P. Shaughnessy and Carolyn E. Donald (David E. Donald); and his brothers, Micheal, Patrick and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Lewis Shaughnessy (Jennifer) of East Liverpool, Vickie Rodgers (Kevin) and Janet Shaughnessy of Brunswick, Maine.; and his siblings, Ruth Finn, Carolyn Somers (William), Jeanette, Diann, John Shaughnessy, Martin Shaughnessy (Patricia) and Roger Shaughnessy (Kimberly). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
