He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shabman and Ethel Shabman (Redler); his son George Saunders; his sister Anne Atkins Rein; and his former wife Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Olivia Saunders; his son Lawrence Saunders (Toby) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Jennifer Saunders Kerbel (Josh) and Mark Saunders (Tammy); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Shayla, Jude and Joey; and his brother Ben Shabman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
