He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldwin A. Wixson, Sr. and Hope Wixson (Craig); his former wife Rowena Palmer; his sister Faith Varney (Erlon Varney); and his cousin Sharon Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wixson (Barden); his children, Cheryl Wixson (Phillip McFarland) of Stonington, ME, Jennifer Wixson (Stanley Luce) of Troy, ME, William Wixson (Robin) of Belmont, NH, Wesley Wixson (Lori) of Bow, NH, Jonathan Wixson (Christin) of Ashland, NH and Jessica Wixson Shaw (Sky) of Plymouth, NH; and also Glenn Gruber. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
