It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Carbone of Plaistow, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carbone and Carrie Carbone (Oneto); her brothers, Richard Carbone and Raymond; and her sister-in-law Dena Carbone.

She is survived by: her nephews, Gerald Carbone (Joanne) of Kingston and Raymond Carbone, Jr. (Rose) of Steuben. She is also survived by great-grand nieces and nephews and cousins.

“First of all, my condolences to your entire family. I am struck by the name and picture. Perhaps was Ms. Carbone a teacher in Massachusetts in some aspect many years ago? I had a teacher named Verna Carbone many many years ago whom taught me how to type in the 1980’s. I am still at over 50 years of age a proficient typist. I credit her teaching skills.
