He was predeceased by: his wife Constance "Connie" Cullen (Holmes); his siblings, Albert, Edward, Leon, James, Irene, Rita, Yvonne, Loretta and Elizabeth; and his siblings-in-law, Harriet Ingalls (Holmes) and Paul Holmes.
He had a special passion for the children of the community, always finding ways to benefit them, including donations for children's projects at the Plaistow Public Library and playing Santa Claus at numerous functions.
