He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen E. Cocolin (Takides) and Gus Cocolin; and his son Michael J. Walter. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" M. Cocolin; his daughter Melynda S. Pavao (Krystyna) of Fairhaven, MA; his brother Gabriel G. Cocolin (Mildred) of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Burgandie J. J. W. Coy, Samuel T. Berthiaume, Margaux I. Pham (Berthiaume), Jack E. Pavao and Emerson J. Pavao; and his great grandchild Sawyer E. Berthiaume.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the American Legion (1314 N Main St, Haverhill, MA 01830).
