He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. O'Brien and Eleanor M. O'Brien (Higgins). He is survived by: his daughter Kelly L.; his son-in-law Dominick Lacoste of Durham; his sons, Sean T. O'Brien of Newmarket and Patrick M. O'Brien of Manchester; his grandchildren, Brooklyn and Camryn; his niece Denise Parece; and his nephews, Patrick Moran, Michael Moran and Chuck Moran.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army.
