He was predeceased by: his father John Gould Jr.; his brother Allen Foster Tilden; and his daughter Patricia Tilden-Boudoin. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tilden (Snow); and his children, Paula Tilden-Carnes, Peter Tilden, Pamela Tilden-Wilcox, Paul Bertholdt, Rella Bertholdt-Bartlett and William Bertholdt. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
