We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2022, at the age of 92, Joseph P. Doherty of Plaistow, New Hampshire, born in Somerville, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Doherty (Carey); his parents, Fredrick H. Doherty and Helen L. Doherty; and his daughter Nancy A. Doherty. He is survived by: his children, David S. Doherty (Nancy) of Plaistow, NH, Paul R. Doherty (Nancy) of Lynn, Joseph P. Doherty (Judy) of Peabody, Lorraine R. Wilcox (Don) of Upton and Joanne M. Power (Mark) of Tewksbury; and his pet Kaia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
