He was predeceased by: his son Geoffrey; and his former wife Louise Deitz Crawford. He is survived by: his son Douglas (Yongping); his grandson Skye of San Francisco; his sisters, Nancy Thornley (John) of Truro and Cornelia Allan of Mountainside; his stepchildren, James Gilroy of Paris and Catherine Eby (Richard); and his grandson Cole of Francestown.
