She was predeceased by: her husband Donald I. Higgins, Sr.; her parents, Joseph B. Blum and Mary Blum (MacNeil); and her siblings, Ruth Geng (McCarroll), Jean McIntyre, Barbara Collett, Christine Hawkes (Christy) and Joseph B Blum, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sarah Power (Mickle), Matthew Mickle, Kelley Higgins, Valerie and Rachel Higgins; and her great grandchild Kane Mickle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
