It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Boyer (Peterborough, New Hampshire), born in Creamery, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Boyer of Dayton, Ohio.; her sister Esther Tyson Boyer of Chico; and her children, Ernest, Jr. (Sondy) of Sunnyvale, Craig (Flora) of Rosebud, Paul (Hilary) of Ithaca, NY and Beverly (Dale Coye) of Wilton, NH. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was president of the American College of Nurse Midwives Foundation and founded a program to educate teenage mothers on parenting and help them stay in school.
