It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Anthony Southard in Peterborough, New Hampshire, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Southard and Margaret Southard (Heywood); his significant other Sarah "Sally" Tingle Southard; his brothers, John and Mark; his children, Karen Southard Nevin (Christopher Nevin) and James Anthony Southard, Jr. (Kristine); his grandchildren, Aidan Nevin (Hannah Shihdanian), Cameron Nevin (Rebecca "Goldie" Harmon), Annie Southard and Griffin Southard; and his great grandchildren, Bella and Jaime.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in memory of Jim to the Council on Aging-Chapin Senior Center in New London, NH.
