With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Johnson of Peterborough, New Hampshire, born in Nashua, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 23, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his sister Natalie Vincent (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Lois Johnson (Wentworth); his children, Scott Johnson of Portsmouth, NH, Lori Ashooh (Rich) of Bedford, NH and Wendy Johnson of Maine; and his siblings, Dick Johnson of Harrisonburg, VA and Sandy Dod (Johnson) of Merrimack, NH.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private memorial will be planned at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Peterborough Fire and Rescue Association or the Boy Scouts of America – Daniel Webster Council.

“Not only was Don a giant in New Hampshire dentistry, and a mentor to many, he was special to me as Co-founder of the Association of Retiring Dentists. Without his wisdom and insight the ARD most likely would not have made it off the ground. We spent many hours together brainstorming and creating this organization to benefit other dentists in our demographic. My wife, Gail, and I offer our deepest sympathies to Lois and the rest of Don's family. We’ll miss him.”
