He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John A. Sr. Copeland and Marion Copeland (Read); his wife Diane Copeland (Plasse); his former wife Karen J. Copeland; his daughters, Shelby Evans, Kelly Renaud (Scott) and Tracy Copeland; his brother John A. Jr. Copeland (Jane); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob Renaud, Mackenzie, Chandler and Sam Evans.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
