He was predeceased by: his parents, Remi Jarest and Eva Jarest (Hill); and his brothers, Horace A. Jarest, William Jarest, Clayton Jarest, Octave Jarest and Howard Jarest.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his niece Diane LaRoche (Peter); and his great-nephew Tyler LaRoche. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
