He was predeceased by: his wife Joan M. Straughan (Morin). He is survived by: his children, Maureen G. Provencal (Thomas) of Pelham, NH, Linda T. Philbrook (Thomas) of Bow, NH, Louanne J. Hall (John) of Derry, NH and Wiliam S. Straughan of Pelham, NH; his sister Mary Bedard of Rye, NH; his daughter Cat; and his pet Jody. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
