She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Batista; her parents, Blazej Fortuna and Katarzyna Fortuna (Bugiel); and her sister Blanche Reynolds. She is survived by: her children, Michael Batista (Ranice) of Lowell and Catherine Hufsmith (Willis) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Joel Hufsmith of North Carolina, Benjamin Hufsmith of Virginia and Erika Littleford of Virginia; and her siblings, Stella Wojcik, Pauline "Lena" Shanahan, Adam Fortuna and Walter Fortuna.
