He was predeceased by: his wife Betty June Squires (Parkerson). He is survived by: his children, Deborah Thorpe (William) of Nashua, NH, Cathy Squires of Lowell and George K. Squires, Jr. (Julie Sheehan) of Pelham, NH; his sisters, Marjorie Lazarus of Tucson, AZ and Barbara Jones of Billerica, MA; and his pet Bridget. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
