He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Wims and Anita E. Wims (Kelly). He is survived by: his children, Kelly E. Wims of Ossipee, NH and James P. Wims II; his grandson Mason J. Wims; his children, Francis J. Wims II of Concord, NH and Edward M. Wims of Winooski, VT.; his wife Jeannette (Cain); his brother Peter Wims (Deb); his nieces and nephews, Matthew and Mickey Wims of Indianapolis, IN; and his sister Melissa Risk (Barry Risk) of Pawtucket, RI..
