He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Merrithew. He is survived by: his mother Lois Merrithew of Tamworth; his siblings, Susan Steeves of Tamworth, Judy Tuscano (Michael) of North Hampton, Dana (Jane) of Rumney and Scott of Tamworth; and his daughter Kayla of Tamworth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
