He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fields and Meda Fields (Roberts); the mother of his children Patricia Olsen; his significant other Carol Chivers; and his siblings, Dale Fields, Joan Durkee, Mary Jane Huntington and Joyce Brewster.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca "Becky" Byrd (Robert) of Autryville, NC and John Fields (Michelle) of Orford, NH; his grandchildren, Joseph Fields, Joshua Fields, Jordyn Fields, Jada Fields, Autumn Pope and Maranda Byrd; his great grandchildren, Landon Fields, Cailynn Ste, Marie, Clayton Ste, Benjamin Hathaway and Kennedy Pope; and his siblings, Bruce Fields and Carol Hurlbert. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Orford Congregational Church (617 NH-10, Orford, NH 03777).
