He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard E. Whiting, Sr. and Evelyn G. Whiting (Purrington). He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Whiting (Place) of Boscawen; his children, Victoria Smart of Colebrook, Bo-Ellen Ball of Concord, Barbara Whiting of Groveton and Leonard "Sonny" Whiting III of Groveton; and his siblings, Donald Whiting and Carol Daigneault. He is also survived by three nephews.
