She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose (Shanks) and William J. Cherniske; and her siblings, William H. Cherniske, Donald Cherniske and Mary Powers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gail Ferraro and Timothy Cherniske. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
