He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cookson and Marie Cookson (McCarthy). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cookson (Dickson); and his daughters, Phyllis Ruais (Bob) of Celina, TX and Linda Hmurciak (Bill) of No. He is also survived by grandchildren and (16) great-grandchildren.
