He is survived by: his wife Karen Laing (Smith); his children, Ashlei Laing and Scott G. Laing (Laura); his siblings, Geoffrey C. Laing of Plaistow and Nancy E. Laing of Plaistow; and his nieces and nephews, Ben, Sandy, Taylor and Kelsea.
