With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan I. Lightizer of Newton, New Hampshire, who passed away on March 10, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Eckhardt and Freida Eckhardt (Wegramph); her husband Robert; her grandson Michael Lightizer; and her brother Charles W. Eckhardt.
She is survived by: her sons, William E. (Kelly Lightizer), Mark D. Lightizer of Newton and Jeffrey S. (Becky Lightizer); her grandchildren, William R. Lightizer (Windee) of Exeter, Nicole J. Morton of Newton, Robert J. Lightizer (Katelyn) of Newton, Amy C. Chaisson (Mike) of Newton, Elizabeth A. Lightizer of Newton, Scot A. Lightizer (Jasmine) of Windham, Jacob T. Lightizer (Kelsey Bourque) of Barrington and Matthew P. Lightizer (Samantha) of Newton; and her great grandchildren, Leeann, Mac, Molly, Jennifer, Abi, Annelies, Owen and Emma. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Friends of the Gale Library, 16 South Main St., Newton, NH.
